For a lot of girls, the best part of camp is horses! With our Overnight Horse camps you'll get quality horse time while still getting much of the Classic camp experience.
Whether you're a brand new rider, or you've ridden for years, our trained and supportive staff will help you develop your skills in a way that fits your past experience and age level.
Our Overnight Horse camps include 4, 6 or 13-day sessions for girls entering grades 4-5 (Pony Tails), 6-8 (Saddle Sidekicks) and 9-12 (Boots and Spurs). The 6- and 13-day sessions also include a trail ride.
We also have leadership programs for young women who want to learn how to work with horses. Head on over to our leadership page to learn more about Cowgirls and Wrangler-In-Training programs.
With our camps you don't have to worry about not having enough (or having too much!) experience with horses. When campers arrive at camp, our experienced wranglers will do a riding assessment and place girls in riding groups according to ability.
Just how much horse time will you get at Overnight Horse camp? Each riding day offers two hours at the riding barn: one hour for ground lessons and the other for riding lessons.
Not Horse Crazy?
There's lots you can do at camp! If you love horses but think you might want to try something new, why not check out Classic Camp? Some Classic Camp sessions offer add-on horse experiences, so you can spend time with the horses while still exploring new things. Or if you're craving a different kind of adventure, why not try out a Specialty Camp?
