At St. Albans Classic Day Camp, you’ll get the chance to try all the activities camp has to offer. Campers are involved in planning their program as soon as they arrive. If they find they really enjoy canoeing or hiking on the camp trails, they’ll get to do it again. All campers participate in swimming, nature program, arts and crafts, boating, campfires and cookouts, hiking and sleeping under the stars.
ª These sessions have the option to add a horse experience for $35!
Add one pony ride (grades 2-3) or one horse experience (grades 4-5) to your classic camp! The horse experience includes one hour on ground lessons, horse care and anatomy, and one hour riding a horse in an arena lesson.
With River Ranch Classic Day Camp, you’ll try all the activities camp has to offer. Campers are involved in planning their program and what they would like to do as soon as they arrive. All campers participate in swimming, nature program, arts and crafts, boating, campfires, cookouts and hiking. Sessions with Thursday Sleepover include sleeping under the stars.

You're invited to a sleepover Thursday night! It’s a chance for girls to sleep at camp and get an idea of what resident camp is like. Girls will choose as a group to sleep in open air cabins, tepees, tents and even sleeping under the stars. Thursday dinner and Friday breakfast included. There is no bus service on Thursday afternoon or Friday morning.
Want Horse Time?
Some day camp sessions offer either a pony ride or a two-hour horse experience for $35. This option is only available at Camp River Ranch and Camp St. Albans.
